The “real” flying cars

The “real” flying cars

January 28, 2014

“We wanted flying cars, instead we got 140 characters.” — Peter Thiel

This is the 21st Century. Where is my flying car?

No, seriously: where are the flying cars?

By “flying cars”, I don’t mean the ungainly cross-breeding of a flimsy automobile, and a clunky, low-performance aircraft, such as the Terrafugia, for example:

Or even the Moller Skycar:

No, I’m talking about the real deal: a personal mobility machine that can fly through the air, swiftly and safely, easy to pilot, inexpensive to own, and a total blast of an experience.

Think “George Jetson”:

or even “Back To The Future”:

“Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need…roads!”

Exactly!

So, if blending an automobile and an airplane won’t do the job, what then?

To paraphrase Mark Zuckerberg, in “The Social Media”. if bringing cars and airplanes together could have given us flying cars, we would have flying cars.

To get a George Jetson-like flying car, we will need a new way of thinking about this; the old mindset just won’t get us ther.

That new way of thinking is called:
Quantum Engineering
With quantum engineering, we will have flying cars. But this is a very big task, and I weill need all the help I vcan get.

If you want your own flying car, or if you are technically inclined, and would like to help make the flying car a reality, or even if you just think that a real, honest-to-goodness, George Jetson-like flying car is a really cool idea, then let’s make this happen.

Flying cars, oh yeah!
